April 2022 Vigil

At this month’s vigil we will be focusing on “A call for an end to surveillance and deportation”.  It will be hosted by MN8 at the Bishop Whipple building on April 12th at 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Join us in person or online for prayer and story sharing as we lift up the voices of immigrants we know.

MN8 originated from the ReleaseMN8 campaign when the family and loved ones of eight Cambodian men detained by ICE came together to fight for their freedom. Since the ReleaseMN8 campaign, MN8 has continued to provide support for Southeast Asian individuals and families facing ICE detention and deportation. MN8’s mission is to keep Southeast Asian communities together through direct support, advocacy, community organizing, and leadership development for social and systemic change.
