THE END OF ASYLUM?

FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE SUPREME COURT’S FAST-TRACK ASYLUM RULING!

The Supreme Court recently ruled in support of the Trump Administration’s plan to fast track the asylum process, basically ruling that asylum-seekers do not have the right to a day in court to plea their case. This ruling challenges the internationally recognized right to seek asylum.

What exactly does this ruling mean for the future of those who would come to the United States seeking protection from religious, political or ethnic persecution? We will be joined by immigration attorney Gloria Contreras, who will explain the possible implications for the ruling. Our Call to Action will be about how we the people can fight back!

COVID-19 Protocol will be observed (face masks, BYO signs and social-distancing), and a limit of 40 people will be granted access. Please visit the ICOM contact page and let us know you’re interested in attending.
