See below – NEW LOCATION on the sidewalk of the Fred Wells Tennis Center
Learn about Dolores Huerta, immigrant and co-founder / leader of the United Farm Workers of America, and about the Mexican “Latina Rosie the Riveters” who played an unsung role in the US WWII effort. These immigrant women, along with St Francis Cabrini, helped shape US history and inspire our ongoing struggle for immigrants’ rights. We honor these immigrant women, along with the native Lakota people upon whose land the Whipple building stands.
