“BROKEN BORDERS, BRINGING HOPE”
So many families are separated by human-created borders. Come hear the stories from Global Refuge (formerly Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service) of those hurting by these separations around the world and to bear witness to the need for just laws and to offer hope and compassion that goes beyond borders.This month’s vigil is organized by Edina Community Lutheran Church, a congregation striving to give witness to love and justice at God’s welcome table and in the world. We will meet at the Bishop Whipple Building at 1 Federal Drive at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 13th.
