At this month’s vigil we will hear about “A Man’s Journey from Africa to the United States.” A man whose family originated in Rwanda will tell the story of how they were forced to move to Uganda and the trials he faced there, his eventual move to the United States and the challenges and successes he has experienced along the way. The vigil will be hosted by Lumen Christi Catholic Community in Highland Park, St Paul. As usual, it will take place on the second Tuesday of the month, June 14th, at 7:30 AM at the Whipple Building from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Join us in person in front of the building or online for prayers, songs and story sharing as we honor the voices of immigrants we’ve come to know.
